San Diego Chargers 2015 Training Camp: Schedule & Practice Times

The San Diego Chargers are headed back to work. The Chargers begin training camp this week at Chargers Park, the team training facility, in San Diego. Fans are anxious to see rookie running back Melvin Gordon in action.

San Diego’s off-season has had a bit of controversy. Star safety Eric Weddle has publicly expressed his disappointment with the organization. He has already said that this will be his last season with the Chargers. Antonio Gates was suspended four games for the use of PEDs. Gates will still be able to participate in training camp as well as exhibition games.

Finally, there is the ongoing contract negotiations with quarterback Philip Rivers. Rivers enters the final year of his contract and has yet to reach a new agreement with the Chargers. Chargers fans are anxious to move on to actual football rather than contract rumors. It will be interesting to see whether any of this affects the play on the field.
