Where Is Washington Redskins Training Camp?

How is Robert Griffin’s knee feeling? Are he and Jay Gruden getting along? Will the veteran-heavy team make any noise in an up-and-down NFC East this season?

The Washington Redskins are hoping to answer all those questions, and more, when they open training camp on July 30 in Richmond, Virginia. The squad is slated to practice, once again, at the Bon Secours Washington Redskins Training Center in the middle of the city. Here’s what you need to know about the facility.

The building, which broke NFL training camp attendance records in its very first operational summer, is a full-service sports medicine rehabilitation and men’s health center throughout the year and is actually open to the public in the greater Richmond area. Throughout training camp the facility also offers a handful of interactive events for fans of all ages and partners with the adjacent Museum of Virginia and the Children’s Museum of Richmond for a handful of activities.

When the Redskins aren’t using the facility for camp, the area is frequently used for private and cooperate events. Last year over 80 events were held at the space when the team was not in camp.
