Robert Griffin III tried to reach for the ball after a second quarter miscue on Thursday night and may have paid a serious price. The Washington Redskins quarterback appeared to injure his shoulder trying to recover his own fumble and stayed down on the field for several minutes after the play. Watch the moment here:
Griffin had taken a beating throughout much of the first quarter and immediately walked into the locker room after finally getting off the field following the injury. Still, there was this:
Griffin reportedly was being evaluated for a shoulder stinger and going through concussion protocol. The Redskins listed that he was questionable to return to the preseason game. All things considered, Griffin probably won’t return to the preseason game.
