It took Marcus Mariota all of one half to light the NFL world afire. His encore, though, will serve as a much stiffer test.

The No. 2 pick in this year’s draft put together one of the best quarterback rookie debuts in history, completing 16-of-19 throws for 209 yards and four touchdowns, leading the Tennessee Titans to a 42-14 thrashing of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. His reward? A road matchup against one of the league’s best secondaries.

Mariota and the Titans travel to FirstEnergy Stadium on Sunday to take on the Cleveland Browns, who lost their opener to the New York Jets but have the talent in the defensive backfield to better challenge the rookie.

On the other side of the ball, Cleveland will likely be starting its own young, athletic quarterback. With Josh McCown suffering a concussion last week, the Browns are preparing to start Johnny Manziel. The polarizing second-year QB showed some glimpses of his potential Sunday, throwing for 182 yards and rushing for another 35, but he also threw an interception and lost of pair of fumbles.

Even with the unpredictable Manziel under center, though, the oddsmakers appear confident in Cleveland’s ability to slow down Mariota at home. They have this one as a pick ’em.
