Texans vs. Panthers: Time, Channel & Line

Cam Newton and the Panthers head into Sunday’s matchup with Houston as favorites.

The Panthers will be riding a streak of five consecutive wins (dating to last season) when they host the Texans at 1 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.

The Panthers rode their defense to an easy opening week win over the overmatched Jaguars. The Texans, meanwhile, lost to the Chiefs as starting quarterback Brian Hoyer struggled. Houston has a veritable quarterback controversy on its hands as Ryan Mallett came in for the fourth quarter and led the Texans on a touchdown drive down the stretch.
