Well, it’s official, things are not looking good in Dallas.

Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo has, officially, fractured his left clavicle after taking a sack in the third quarter of Sunday’s NFC matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. According to in-game reports Tony Romo allegedly said “it’s broken” in regards to his collarbone while walking off the field following the initial hit.

Romo walked off the field under his own power but was visibly in pain after landing on his left shoulder. Check out the hit here:

The Pro Bowl quarterback had previously fractured his left collarbone in 2010 as well, missing the final ten games of that season. He left Sunday’s game after going 18-for-27 for 195 yards through the air.

Of course, this is just the latest major injury to a Cowboys roster that started the regular season mostly healthy. Wide receiver Dez Bryant will reportedly be sidelined for 10 to 12 weeks after suffering a broken bone in his foot during the week one victory over the New York Giants. According to reports, the early estimates for Romo’s return is eight weeks.

In other words, the NFC East just got pretty crazy.
