With Barcelona in complete control early in their Champions League match with Roma, Italian midfielder Alessandro Florenzi uncorked this shot that went past Barcelona goalie Marc-Andre Ter Stegen.
Florenzi crossed the halfway line, saw Ter Stegen was off his line and did the rest. The goal tied the match up at 1-1 in the 31st minute in the first meeting between the two clubs since 2001/02.
Florenzi, 24, has been capped nine times for Italy in his career. He’s been with Roma since he was 11-years-old and has made more than 100 appearances for the club.
It’s the second time Florenzi has come up with an absolute stunner. In 2014 he connected on a bicycle kick in Roma’s Serie A clash with Genoa.
