Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo went down with what appeared to be a left shoulder injury in the third quarter of Sunday’s NFC East matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Romo spent several minutes down on the field after the hit, which also led to a fumble and recovery by the Eagles. Prior to the hit, Romo was 18-for-27 for 195 yards in a game that was nothing short of pure chaos on either side.
The Cowboys QB had previously suffered a back injury last season, although this injury appeared to be centered around his shoulder/collar bone area.
