It’s always fun to see LeBron James match up against the Miami Heat his old teammates and in the Cleveland Cavaliers home opener, odds are pretty good that James will be more than a little fired up.
Of course, there’s also a game to play. We can’t sit around and stew on memories and former championship runs forever.
The Cavs split their first two games of the season, falling to Chicago in the opener before routing Memphis 106-76 the next night. Cleveland will be without Kyrie Irving and Iman Shumpert again, looking to maintain a dominant presence at home. Te Cavaliers have won 20 of their last 21 at home, including the postseason, with both James and Kevin Love in the lineup.
Miami is riding a wave of early-season expectations after notching an impressive 104-94 season-opening victory over Charlotte at home.
