The Falcons have a potentially record-setting player in their midst. Julio Jones has gone absolutely crazy through the first three weeks of the 2015 NFL season.
Jones leads the league in receptions (34) and receiving yards (440), having posted three consecutive games with at least 135 yards to start the season. Another game with at least 135 and he’d tie the record.
It should be an interesting dynamic in the Georgia Dome this Sunday afternoon when the surging 3-0 Falcons and Jones host the middling Texans, who are trying to find a rhythm and a quarterback. An improved Ryan Mallett got Houston its first win on Sunday over the Buccaneers, but it wasn’t the most pretty effort.
