Welcome to the NFL, Landry Jones.
Jones lit up the box scores during his three years as an Oklahoma Sooner, but hasn’t seen any regular season action behind Ben Roethlisberger. That changed today, when Mike Tomlin pulled Michael Vick in the third quarter. Vick had a terrible half, finishing just 3/8 for six yards.
When a fumble gave the Steelers great field position, it was Jones that came out and broke the Steelers’ huddle. it was only a four play drive, but the TD pass to Martavis Bryant is the most the Steelers have done all game.
Michael Vick has been diagnosed with a strained hamstring.
