Look, we’ve all played Madden. We know who this guy is.
That Michael Vick is long gone.
Strip away his weapons on offense. Take a look at Vick’s numbers last season with the Jets. When we last saw Vick in action he was a turnover machine, and his fumble in his relief stint Sunday was foreshadowing for tonight.
Is this a boom-or-bust proposition? Perhaps so. If there’s any boom to be found, the easiest place is in the value of Le’Veon Bell. Whether he’s catching dump-offs from Vick or simply toting 30 carries, expect Bell to be charged with moving the chains for Pittsburgh consistently.
For Daily Fantasy, Draftkings has Vick priced at $5,000. That’s the minimum for a player at that position, and puts him at the same value of Matt Hasselbeck, Geno Smith, and other quarterbacks who have zero chance of playing this week. If they don’t take him seriously, neither should you.
Even if he has a nice game tonight, I would still stay away.
Don’t fall for the trap again.
