Arsenal looks to go back-to-back over Bayern Munich when they meet them at the Allianz on Wednesday. The Gunners earned their lone victory in Group F over Bayer two weeks ago, ending Bayern’s clean sheet through two games of group play. Now just three points behind the German powers, Arsenal could even themselves in the group standings with another win.
Munich won their first two group games by a combined score of 8-0. They lead Group F on goal differential, and are tied in points with Olympiacos.
The Gunners biggest problem right now is staying on the field. Injuries are piling up, just as their hitting their finest form this season. Manager Arsene Wenger stated that Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain won’t be available until after the international break, leaving the squad short-handed until December.
Kickoff is scheduled for 2:45 p.m. Eastern. Check here for the team lineups once they are released:
