It was a hard fought Iron Bowl for much of the game but Alabama pulled away in the end. The Crimson Tide beat the Tigers 29-13 in the annual Iron Bowl.
With the victory, Alabama clinched the SEC West and will take on Florida next week for the SEC Championship. Alabama Running Back Derrick Henry had 46 carries for 271 yards and a touchdown.
Alabama had just a 12-6 lead heading into halftime. It was still a one score game late in the third quarter. It was the fourth quarter where Alabama pulled away.

Auburn led 6-3 after the first quarter. Both defenses were able to contain the offenses in a low scoring affair early in the contest.

Alabama took a 12-6 lead into halftime. The team combined for six field goals. Auburn continued to hang around the game which was bad news for Alabama.

Will Muschamp Went Crazy
Auburn received a late hit penalty and Tigers defensive coordinator went crazy. Muschamp received his own personal foul penalty. Auburn was penalized 30 yards on one play and it led to an Alabama field goal. Muschamp went onto the field a second time and had to be restrained.
Derrick Henry Put the Game Away With a Final Touchdown
Henry continued his streak of a touchdown in 16 straight games. The score also made sure Alabama covered the spread.
