Talk about clutch.
Stephen Gostkowski continued to be Mr. Dependable, connecting on a 54-yard field goal in the final seconds of regulation to lead the New England Patriots to a 27-26 victory over the New York Giants on Sunday afternoon. Check it out:
Tom Brady led the Patriots down the field without any timeouts, in a minute and 50 seconds, fighting off a big-time rush from Big Blue that included an almost-interception. Then, Gostkowski followed up with the game-winning field goal.
The Patriots are still undefeated. New York Giants fans are sad. That was all very dramatic.
The victory clinched a 15th straight winning season for New England.
