It’s December, and Leicester City are 17 points clear of Chelsea. As crazy as that sounds, they’ll have a chance to add to that lead today as the Foxes welcome Chelsea to King Power Stadium.
Last month was pretty good the Leicester. November saw them rise to the top of the table, aided by Jamie Vardy’s incredible scoring streak. Vardy was named Player of the Month, and Claudio Ranieri was named Manager of the Month. His team is currently on an eight match unbeaten run, and can reclaim the top spot in the table with a good result today.
Chelsea has been good enough to win their group in Champions League qualifying, but has been poor in domestic competition. Last week they were beaten by Bournemouth, and the team is winless in their last five away matches.
