When Is the College Football National Championship Game?


The College Football Playoff happens in stages. This season the semifinal games were the Orange and Cotton Bowls.

When do the winners of each game get to play each other? The college football title game is on January 11th, 2016 and the kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. ET.

This year’s game is in Glendale, Arizona at the University of Phoenix Stadium. Football fans may recognize it as the home of the Arizona Cardinals.

The two teams will have a week and a half to prepare for the championship game. This year’s four college football teams were the Clemson Tigers, Alabama Crimson Tide, Michigan State Spartans and the Oklahoma Sooners.

Clemson won the Orange Bowl and will play either Alabama or Michigan State.
