According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, former Broncos and Redskins coach Mike Shanahan will be interviewing with the Miami Dolphins for the head coaching position.
The interview will be the second interview for Shanahan in Miami, after he went to South Beach for his initial round in late December. The interview will come Tuesday, Fox Sports reported.
Shanahan, 63, last coached in the NFL coaching with Washington, where he led the team from 2010 until 2013, going 24-40 and making the playoffs once. His greatest success came in Denver where he won two Super Bowls with the Broncos from 1995-2008.
In addition to the Dolphins, Shanahan is likely to have some interest in the San Francisco 49ers’ open head-coaching job, Schefter reports.
