Playoff football is upon us, and four teams can alter their franchise’s history with wins today. The AFC Wild Card games will kick off the 2016 playoffs, with the two NFC matchups taking place on Sunday.
After a crazy finish to Saturday’s action, the AFC bracket is set for the Divisional round. Kansas City and Pittsburgh advance, albeit in wildly different fashions. Pittsburgh will head to Denver, while the Chiefs will meet the Patriots.
Because the NFL brackets are reseeded, the brackets are largely determined by the 3-versus-6 matchup. The top seed in each conference must play the highest remaining seed, making sure that the top seeds have the advantage for their regular season efforts.
Here’s how the bracket looks through Sunday:
Upcoming AFC Playoff Schedule
Divisional Round
January 16th, 4:35 p.m. Eastern – Game in New England
January 17th, 4:40 p.m. Eastern – Game in Denver
Conference Championship
