Trevone Boykin isn’t going to play. But that doesn’t officially mean it’s over before it begins for TCU.
The Horned Frogs, who lost their starting quarterback to suspension after he was arrest on Thursday, still have running back Aaron Green, making his final college start in his home town on Saturday night. Backup quarterback Bram Kohlhausen also proved he’s capable under center when he nearly led TCU to a victory over Oklahoma earlier this season.
So, yes, Oregon is a big-time favorite, particularly with Boykin out of the picture, but don’t immediately assume that the Horned Frogs are out of it yet. That is, after all, why they still play the game. And, odds are pretty good, this game will be more than just a bit entertaining.
Kickoff for the Alamo Bowl is slated for 6:45 p.m. ET and is being broadcast nationally on ESPN. If you’re not going to be near a TV, keep scrolling for other live stream options and even a way to catch the game for free:
