Things got a bit scary on Tuesday night when UNC coach Roy Williams, 65, collapsed on the sidelines during a timeout.
Check out the moment, during the first media timeout of the second half, here as the Tar Heels coach tries to walk back to the huddle and falls:
Williams, who has dealt with vertigo in the past, left the sideline after the incident and was reportedly taken to the locker room for observation. He has previously experienced dizzy spells during games, requiring him to crouch down and take a moment, however, this is the first time Williams has left a game because of an apparent health issue. UNC tweeted the following out after Williams moved to the locker room:
Assistant coach Steve Robinson led the team during the remainder of the game against Boston College, the last of a three-game road trip for UNC. The Tar Heels staged a come-from-behind 68-65 victory.
