College basketball in March is known for its unpredictability, or madness, if you will. And you’re likely to see a shining example of that during the 2016 Big 12 Tournament.
While Kansas–again–is at the top of the conference, the Big 12 boasts incredible depth. Despite only having 10 total teams, seven are ranked in the Top 25 and three–Kansas, Oklahoma and West Virginia–sit inside the Top 10.
Not only will that depth make for a compelling conference tourney, but many of the teams play entertaining styles of basketball. Kansas is one of only two teams (Virginia) in the country to rank in the Top 10 in adjusted offensive and deficiency. Oklahoma, led by Player of the Year candidate Buddy Hield, can rain down threes in a hurry. West Virginia brings relentless full-court pressure. Iowa State has the second-most efficient offense in America. Baylor and Texas both have size and athletes.
The championship could easily be a Final 4 preview, but the entire tournament figures to be scintillating. Here’s everything you need to know to watch all the action from Kansas City:
