England will look to build off of late success in their last friendly when they host Netherlands. It took injury time for Eric Dier to notch the game-winner over Germany, but Roy Hodgson’s men scored a fantastic result heading into the summer. Hodgson has told reporters he’ll make lots of changes today from Sunday’s side, including the addition of Daniel Sturridge to the lineup.
The Netherlands failed to qualify for EURO 2016, and failed to impress again in their last friendly in a loss to France. But once again the Dutch will bear witness to a stadium-wide tribute to legendary footballer Johan Cruyff. The Wembley Stadium crowd will applaud for the entirety of the 14th minute, a number that will forever be associated with Cruyff. There will also be tributes to the victims of the attacks in Brussels: England players will wear black armbands, and the crowd will have a minute of silence before kickoff.
