The Philadelphia Flyers and Washington Capitals have a deep history and an even deep distaste for one another and because sometimes the sports world is a wonderful place, the two teams will face off in the Eastern Conference quarterfinals. Puck drop for Game 1 of the first round NHL playoff series is slated for 7 p.m. ET and is being nationally broadcast on NBCSN.
