If you are a Pittsburgh Penguins fan, Thursday night was pretty fantastic for you. If you’re a New York rangers fan, Thursday night was about as bad as it could get.
The Pens ran away with a 5-0 victory in Game 4, forcing Henrik Lundqvist out of net early in the second period and making New York like a team ill equipped to play any sort of hockey, let alone the playoff variety.
Now, the Blueshirts are facing elimination on the road this afternoon and a desperation that the team hasn’t really felt in several seasons. Can the Rangers keep their season alive and, more importantly, keep Lundqvist in between the pipes? There’s only one way to find out.
Puck drop for the rivalry matchup is slated for 3 p.m. ET and is being nationally broadcast on NBC. Don’t worry if you wont’ be near a TV though. We’ve got ways to stream the game online and on mobile:
