It took a few days, but the final series of the Stanley Cup playoffs is about to get underway.
The Anaheim Ducks, fresh off one of the most impressive turn-arounds in the regular season, host the Nashville Predators on Friday night, anxious to keep their recent string of success going.
So, how do they do it? They score.
Anaheim has some of the best offensive players in the league and the on-ice leadership is nothing short of incredible. Add into the mix that the Ducks are, finally, fully healthy, with David Perron, Rickard Rakell and Kevin Bieksa all expected to go in Game 1, and this is a team that is more dangerous than ever.

Preview: Plenty has been made about the Anaheim Ducks’ late-season turnaround and for good reason. The team was in last place in the Western Conference in mid-November before going on to wrap up the Pacific Division title and one of the best records in the entire league.
But, what about Nashville?
The Predators were one of the hottest teams in the Western Conference over the final months of the regular season and their offensive turnaround was nothing short of impressive.
Filip Forsberg became the first Nashville player with 30 goals since 2010. Then, for good measure, James Neal followed suit.
Nashville also went 2-1-0 against Anaheim during the regular season, but all the victories came on home ice. Tonight’s game, naturally, is at the Honda Center.
