The San Jose Sharks a victory away from doing something they’ve never done in their 25-year history — make the Stanley Cup Final.

After their 6-3 win on Monday night, the Sharks hold a 3-2 series lead in the best-of-7 Western Conference Finals against the St. Louis Blues.

Game 6 is tonight in San Jose’s SAP Center.

Behind NHL Playoffs scoring leaders Joe Pavelski and Logan Couture, the Sharks knocked off the Kings in 5 games then the Predators in 7 before matching up with St. Louis.

The Blues will turn to veteran goalie Brian Elliott for Game 6. Jake Allen had started the previous two games going 1-1, but allowing seven goals.
