Manchester United and Crystal Palace will meet at Wembley Stadium in a rematch of one of the all-time classic FA Cup finals. The chance to end the season with a trophy would be a big lift for United, and a first for Crystal Palace in their 111-year history.
Palace have awful history against United, winless against them in their last 20 meetings across all competitions. But the teams drew at Selhurst Park earlier this year, and Palace have the edge when it comes to set pieces. They’ve scored 29 goals on set pieces this season, more than any other team in England.
United spent most of the season playing boring football, but a pair of young strikers have brought a spark to LVG’s controlling style. Marcus Rashford could become the second-youngest player to score in an FA Cup final on Sunday, as he and Anthony Martial looked threatening in United’s 3-1 finale over Bournemouth.
