The United States won Group A with their 1-0 win over Paraguay and Colombia’s 3-2 loss to Costa Rica.
Colombia and the USA have punched their ticket for the next round. The United States play the Group B runner-up on Thursday, June 16 in Seattle. Colombia plays the Group B winner on Friday, June 17 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
Colombia, USA, Mexico, Venezuela and Argentina have all advanced to the quarterfinals.
Colombia and the United States will await the outcome of Sunday’s match between Peru and Brazil. Both teams are tied for first in Group B heading into their match. The winner of Group A (likely USA) will play the runner-up of Group B on Thursday night in Seattle. The Group A runner-up (Colombia) will travel to MetLife Stadium in New Jersey to face the winner of Group B.
