Needing only a point to advance to the group stage, France manager Didier Deschamps is expected to tinker with his lineup ahead of their Group A finale against Switzerland. The Swiss, who also need a point to advance, have yet to win a competitive match over France (0-3-2).
France are loaded with talent, but it’s tough to spread the minutes around, especially up front. Olivier Giroud and N’Golo Kante are both on yellow cards, so it’s safe to assume both will rest on Sunday. Paul Pogba has been working his way into the lineup, and he and Antoine Griezmann could see the field after resting against Albania.
One player that could change up Deschamps lineup is Andre-Pierre Gignac. He’s hasn’t made a start for France at Euro, but has had a tremendous club season since transferring to Tigres in Mexico.
Sweden won’t make many changes, but may have to adjust without Valon Behrami. The midfielder, who scored the tying goal against Romania and plays his club football for Watford, is dealing with a knee injury.
