Mexico may have already qualified for the Copa America quarterfinals, but Juan Carlos Osorio will continue tinkering with his lineup in their group finale against Venezuela.
The primary concern is still points. Mexico need at least a draw to win Group C, which would help them avoid playing Argentina in the next round. Venezuela pulled upsets over both Jamaica and Uruguay so far, so Osorio can’t completely rest his key players.
One player that won’t be resting is Andres Guardado. The midfielder served his suspension from a red card in Mexico’s opening game, and he’ll be back in the lineup against Venezuela.
