DeMar DeRozan Pistons vs. Raptors

Tuesday’s NBA schedule is a light one, with there being just five games to be played. One of those games is Toronto visiting Cleveland in a matchup of teams that met in the Eastern Conference Finals. Cleveland won that series in six games, and this season the Cavs picked up a 94-91 win in Toronto on October 28. Kyrie Irving led Cleveland with 26 points and LeBron James added 21 and seven assists, doing enough offensively to hang on and leave Toronto with the win.

DeMar DeRozan, the NBA’s current scoring leader with an average of 34 points per game, scored 32 points in that first meeting but he was made to work for every shot attempt. DeRozan needed 28 field goal attempts to reach his point total, but he’s going to be a volume shooter for a team that’s playing very well at this point in time. In addition to the starters, in recent games young contributors such as Pascal Siakam and Lucas Nogueira have given Toronto quality minutes off the bench.
