Thursday’s four game NBA schedule is headlined by the Chicago Bulls visiting the Miami Heat, with Bulls guard Dwyane Wade facing the franchise he’d spent his entire career with prior to this season. Wade’s negotiations with the Heat weren’t the smoothest, ultimately lead to his decision to join the Bulls and play for the team he grew up watching. During his time with the Heat Wade won three championships, and that’s something the fan base will never forget.
But how will he be received tonight, especially when considering the negotiations between and Heat team president Pat Riley? One would assume that Wade get his just due from the franchise and fans in attendance, and the reaction to his return will be something many focus on Thursday night. Bulls vs. Heat is the first half of TNT’s Thursday night doubleheader, with the Lakers visiting the Kings in the nightcap. Also on the slate is New Orleans, still looking for its first win, visiting Milwaukee and Golden State playing in Denver one night after blowing out Dallas.
