There are five games on the NBA schedule for Thursday night, and there’s a clear headliner on the slate. That game would be the Oklahoma City Thunder visiting the Golden State Warriors, the first time that Warrior Kevin Durant has played against his former team. Much has been made about the relationship between he and Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook, and while what happens between the lines won’t reveal much in that regard the game should be an intense one.

Golden State is considered the favorite to come out of the West this season, and while there have been moments when their new starting lineup has struggled there’s no denying the potential of this roster. As for the Thunder, Westbrook has led them to an undefeated start and a win in Oakland would go a long way towards earning some respect when it comes to discussions about contenders in the Western Conference. Golden State has plenty of offensive firepower, but something to watch tonight may be what Oklahoma City big men Steven Adams, Domantas Sabonis and Enes Kanter can do against the Warriors’ front court. That’s been the biggest concern thus far for the Warriors, and it is something they’ll need to address as the season wears on.

That will be the second game in TNT’s Thursday doubleheader, with the Cavaliers hosting the Celtics in the first game. Below are the times and TV listings for Thursday, and all times are Eastern.
