Clemson takes on Virginia Tech in Orlando for the ACC Championship. According to OddsShark, Clemson enters the contest favored by 10 points.

The over-under is set at 59 points. Both teams have been average against the spread this season coming into the ACC Championship at 6-6. The point total has gone under in six of the last seven Clemson-Virginia Tech games.

The OddsShark computer likes Clemson to win but by less than Vegas expects. The computer projects a 41.4-32 Clemson victory. The computer is taking Virginia Tech against the spread and the over on the point total.

The Tigers have a lot on the line. Not only can Clemson win the ACC with a victory, but a win likely sends them to their second straight College Football Playoff.

Virginia Tech would love to play spoiler. It is hard to know what to expect from this nine-win Virginia Tech team. They have victories over North Carolina and Notre Dame. However, the Hokies also have losses to Syracuse and Georgia Tech.

Heavy likes Clemson to come away with the win, but Virginia Tech to keep it close. Quarterback Jerod Evans and the Hokies defense will allow Virginia Tech to enter the fourth quarter within striking distance. That’s where it ends as Clemson has too much talent to lose this matchup.

Heavy’s Pick: Clemson 27 Virginia Tech 20. Virginia Tech +10. Under the Point Total.
