Eighteen of the best PGA Tour players in the world are in the Bahamas this weekend for the annual Hero World Challenge.
The tournament, which is put on by the Tiger Woods Foundation, also benefits the Tavistock Foundation and the Albany Scholars Program.
It also features a hefty purse for the players.
This year’s total prize money is $3.5 million and the winner’s share is $1M. The victor also receives the Hero World Challenge trophy.
The 2015 winner, Bubba Watson, also took home the $1 million top prize of the $3.5 million total payout. Patrick Reed pocketed $400,000 for placing second and third-place finisher Rickie Fowler earned $250K.
The field includes Woods, a five-time winner, defending champion Watson, Jordan Spieth, Dustin Johnson and Henrik Stenson.
