Thanksgiving is usually the holiday associated with football, but with December 25th falling on a Sunday this year, Christmas will also have a decidedly NFL feel.
The league has opted to move a majority of the Week 16 schedule to Christmas Eve on Saturday, but arguably the three most compelling matchups are being saved for last, with Baltimore at Pittsburgh and Denver at Kansas City taking place on Christmas, and NFC championship contenders Dallas and Detroit meeting on Monday night.
In other words, if Santa doesn’t bring you everything you want this year, there’s always football to fall back on.
