No. 4 New York Jets: LB/S Jabrill Peppers
School: Michigan
Position: Linebacker/Safety
Class: Junior
Outlook: The Jets need lots of help particularly on offense, but are they willing to invest a top five pick on a quarterback? History tells us no as they have a roster full of young quarterbacks they selected after the first round inluding Bryce Petty, Geno Smith and Christian Hackenberg. With Todd Bowles defensive background, a player like Jabrill Peppers will have lots of appeal. No, Peppers does not have an eye-popping amount of interceptions, but he is the most versatile player in the 2017 draft. He will give the defensive coordinator a lot of options on defense with his ability to play multiple positions and contribute on special teams. The Jets need all the talented players they can get, and Peppers is as special as they come. (Getty)
