It’s just about go time.
The final game of the 2016-17 NFL season is just a few days away when the New England Patriots and Atlanta Falcons square off in Super Bowl LI.
The game is scheduled for Sunday, February 5, from NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas. Kickoff is set for approximately 6:30 p.m. Eastern and it will be televised by Fox.
New England (16-2) is looking for its fifth Super Bowl title since 2001, the beginning of the Tom Brady Era in Foxboro. The Patriots last won an NFL championship after the 2014 season when they defeated the Seattle Seahawks 28-24 in SB XLIX.
The Falcons (13-5) are making their second-ever Super Bowl appearance. Atlanta made the big game after the 1998 season, but fell to John Elway and the Denver Broncos 34-19.
Both teams come into the Super Bowl hot. New England has won 12 of 14 games, including nine consecutive. Atlanta has six straight victories.
