With Le’Veon Bell in the backfield, the Steelers are title contenders. Bell has been an electric presence for Pittsburgh since joining the team in 2013, and has grown to become one of the NFL’s best running backs. Bell is also all over social media, posting highlights of his runs and videos of his workouts. He even shares his SoundCloud page, where Bell promotes his music career. But of all those postings, Bell never shares anything about his personal life. His girlfriend, Mercedes Dollson, is pregnant with the couple’s first child.

1. Dollson is Due to Give Birth to The Couple’s First Child in January
While there hasn’t been an official announcement, Dollson is set to give birth to Baby Bell any day now. Le’Veon Bell missed practice earlier this week, and this vague tweet has many thinking it’s time:

Dollson had a shower for “Baby Bell” in September, where she revealed that she would be having a girl.
2. She is The Founder of Dollface Cosmetics
Dollson spent time in California as an aspiring model, but instead launched a cosmetics line in July of 2016. The line started with just eyebrow accessories, but has since expanded to include lip-related products.

3. Bell Doesn’t Share Photos But Shows up in Comments
Le’Veon Bell is active on social media. That much is known. Whether it’s Twitter, Instagram or Snapchat, there are many ways to probe inside the life of Le’Veon Bell. However, when it comes to his personal life, Bell closes the door to his millions of followers.
On his feed, you can see plenty of workouts, highlights, and rap music. But on his profile and on Dollson’s, there is no evidence of the pair stepping out as a couple. But if you look closely, it’s obvious the couple have been together for almost one year now.

4. Bell Spoke With ESPN in April About Athletes Using Online Dating
In April 2016, ESPN published a story about online dating and it’s impact on the lives of professional athletes. While some athletes cited the benefits of online dating, Bell voiced his concern about the sheer volumes of requests he deals with.
“Whether they think I’m attractive or like my status, lots of girls come at me on social media — lots, lots,” says Steelers Pro Bowler Le’Veon Bell. “You get used to it, and you handle it from there.” How, exactly, does Bell handle it? “I’m a guy who likes conversation, especially with women, and obviously they like doing it with me.” But as often as not, Bell phones a friend. “You have your agent reach out, see what they’re about,” he says. “I can take myself out of the process.”
Bell dipped his toes into the tabloid scene in 2014, when he responded to NFL fan and single celeb Jordin Sparks on Twitter. Sparks had recently divorced from pop star Jason DeRulo, and TMZ ran with the exchange.

5. Dollson Was in The Car When Bell Was Arrested For Marijuana Possession
When Le’Veon Bell and LeGarrette Blount were arrested in August of 2014, the police report cited that an unidentified female was with them. According to LarryBrownSports, that female was Mercedes Dollson.
According to reports, Bell was driving in Ross Township when the three were pulled over by a motorcycle cop around 1:30 p.m. The officer smelled marijuana coming from the car, and the officer discovered 20 grams in the back of the car. All three claimed ownership and were fully cooperative. All three were arrested and released, but Bell was also charged with DUI (from marijuana).
Bell was hit with 15 months of probation, and suspended by the NFL for the first two games of the regular season. Blount was suspended for one game.
