After missing time with extensive injuries, Lindsey Vonn is back at the FIS World Alpine Skiing Chapmionships.
Vonn will compete in a handful of events at the skiing competition, which takes place February 7-9 in St. Mortiz, Switzerland. She is joined by Mikaela Shiffrin, who will also compete in a handful of individual events.
In total, skiiers from 74 countries will take part in the biennial event. There are 11 events on the schedule for men and women. In 2015 when the championships were hosted in Colorado, Austria won the most medals, with nine (five gold, three silver and one bronze). The United States was second with five medals (two gold, one silver, two bronze).
