The greatest rivalry in college basketball–and according to many, all of sports–gets renewed for the 243rd time on Thursday night, as No. 8 North Carolina takes on No. 18 Duke.
The No. 8 Tar Heels own a one-game lead in the ACC, while No. 18 Duke, who went 4-3 without Hall of Fame coach Mike Krzyzewski before he made his return last week, have dropped to sixth in the jam-packed conference.
Nevertheless, pretty much any past results can be thrown out the window when these two historic blue bloods meet on the hardwood. Here’s everything you need to know to watch the anticipated battle:
UNC vs. Duke Viewing Info
Date: Thursday, February 9, 2017
Location: Cameron Indoor Stadium, Durham, North Carolina
Start Time: 8 p.m. ET

Head-to-Head History: North Carolina leads the all-time series, 134-108. As of late, though, the heated rivalry has been a bit one-sided, with the Blue Devils winning 11 of the last 15 matchups.
Duke has also won three of the last four at Cameron Indoor. However, the one loss was the most recent meeting between these teams, as UNC halted a four-game losing streak to Duke with a 76-72 win in Durham last March.
Since Roy Williams took over at Carolina back in 2004, the Blue Devils own a 16-11 advantage.
