Jordan Spieth
Price: $12,000
It's fair to assume Spieth will be the least owned of the top three options this week. Not only is he the most expensive player in the field, but Justin Thomas has won his last two tournaments, while Hideki Matsuyama has finished first, second and fourth in his three appearances at this tournament. While I would probably go with one of them in cash games, I like Spieth, who placed seventh in his only other trip to TPC Scottsdale in 2015, has quietly finished third in back-to-back tournaments and ranks first in GIR percentage, as a contrarian pick in GPP and tournament formats.
