You can't ignore how well Finau is playing at the moment. Since the start of the new year, the 27-year-old has tallied three Top-20 finishes, including a T4 at the Farmers Insurance Open last week. Moreover, he ranks 10th in strokes gained off the tee, 14th in strokes gained tee to green and 35th in GIR percentage, stats that have proven important in determining winners at this event in the past.
