Mexico travel to Trinidad & Tobago on Tuesday, looking to extend their lead in CONCACAF World Cup qualifying.

For Mexico, who set atop the Hex after three matches, all eyes will be on Chicharito. After scoring against Costa Rica Javier Hernandez is tied for Mexico’s all-time scoring record, and his 47th goal will surpass Jared Borgetti for the most goals in Mexican soccer history.

T&T broke a three-game losing streak against Panama last week, and are trailing USA for the final qualifying spot via goal differential.

Trinidad and Tobago are paced by Atlanta United striker Kenwyne Jones, who will draw the focus of Mexico’s defense. Mexico have kept a clean sheet in three of their last four international fixtures, and Nestor Araujo has become a force in the middle of Juan Carlos Osorio’s defense.

Osorio has rotated three keepers during qualifying, with Guillermo Ochoa making the most recent start against Costa Rica. Alfredo Talavera and Jesus Corona have also been in the mix, but Osorio has yet to make a definite decision for his team’s future.
