What's in a Name: This one comes courtesy of Heavy's own Rick Rosen. Jake Odorizzi went 10-6 last season with a 3.69 ERA and 166 strikeouts. ESPN has Odorizzi ranked just outside of their top 50 at 53 and describes his outlook for 2017: "Odorizzi's success hinges upon the performance of a fastball with plenty of spin that he likes to keep high in the zone; this helped him post the fourth-most strikeouts of any pitcher in 2016 on fastballs alone (126).
