Outlook: Los Angeles is off to a fast start in the AL West. The Angels split their opening four-game series with the A's and swept the Mariners. The Angels are powered by a couple of hot bats. Yunel Escobar and Andrelton Simmons are both hitting .400 or better. The Angels have been able to survive several high scoring games with their solid hitting.
