Real Madrid vs. Bayern Munich: Time, Channel & Lineup For Second Leg

(Getty)

Bayern Munich have the tough task of playing from behind Tuesday night at the Bernabeu.

Ronaldo’s brace is the reason the Spaniards have a 2-1 lead heading into Tuesday’s second leg, but Bayern partially dug the hole themselves. Arturo Vidal missed a penalty, and Javi Martinez was shown a red card. Martinez is suspended for Tuesday, but the Germans will see Robert Lewandowski return to the lineup.

Gareth Bale’s latest knock will keep him on the sidelines Tuesday, and his status for Sunday’s Clasico is also in doubt. Bayern will be thrilled to see Lewandowski return, but both Mats Hummels and Jerome Boateng are questionable with injuries.

Bayern haven’t beaten Madrid at the Bernabeu since 2001, and were bailed out by Manuel Neuer multiple times last week. Madrid rested a handful of starters over the weekend against Sporting Gijon but still managed a 3-2 victory to maintain their slim lead atop La Liga.
