Two teams will battle for the most coveted trophy in North American sports— the Stanley Cup.
The Nashville Predators will make their first final appearance in franchise history after winning the Western Conference against the Anaheim Ducks. The Predators, who are led by defenseman P.K. Subban, goaltender Pekka Rinne and forwards Filip Forsberg and Viktor Arvidsson, bested Anaheim in six games.
Nashville will face the Eastern Conference champion, which will be the Ottawa Senators or the Pittsburgh Penguins. The Penguins, who won the Stanley Cup last year, have a 3-2 lead on the Senators entering tonight’s Game 6.
