The draft is finally here, and Heavy has completed our final NBA mock draft after months of various iterations. It has been one of the most eventful draft weeks in recent memory with several trades, including the Celtics trading the top pick to the Sixers.
With Markelle Fultz and Lonzo Ball expected to be selected with the top two picks, the draft officially starts at three. The Celtics have been linked to everyone from Josh Jackson to Jonathan Isaac. Heavy predicts they will go with Duke’s Jayson Tatum to add more offensive firepower to their roster.
From there, more craziness ensues with the Suns at four and Magic at six. While the Kings are likely to take De’Aaron Fox at five if he is available, both the Suns and Magic could go in various directions.
While we are unlikely to get every pick right, you can use this as a guide for the rest of the night. It is helpful to know as players slide on draft night where they were projected to go.
As always, reach out to me on Twitter @JonDAdams with your predictions for the 2017 NBA Draft.
